wp-admin/install.php auto redirect problem
As seen in the title above, you will be led to the tips I previously wrote about wp-admin/install.php problem. This is a wordpress blog log in problem wherein whenever you go to your log in page or admin page, you will be automatically redirected to /wp-admin/install.php/ page as if you have no wp installation running in your blog. This is when you seem to have no post loading at all because when you visit any URL of your blog, it automatically redirects your to a wordpress installation page.
Here are the tips exactly described in my previous post which you may also visit in the link above. Although this procedure helped me with my problem, please note that this might not apply to all cases so it is still strongly advised to seek professional help using the WordPress Forum experts and authorities.
To Repair:
1. Login to Cpanel
2. Choose MySQL Databases. If you only have one database, it should choose it by default so you don’t need to do anything. Otherwise, you may choose which blog database to repair in your drop down menu.
3. When you are already in your MySQL Database, browse way down below where you will find a link saying “phpMyAdmin”. Click on that link.
4. You will be taken to Php MyAdmin Page. On the left side of your interface, you will find at least 2 links (on my case) listed below.
* information_schema (17)
* fasdfadsf_wrdp1 (12) (just a sample)
5. Click on the second one with wrdp1 or choose your blog database. A new table will appear with a list of your different wordpress repairable tables.
6. You may tick/check all boxes or choose one by one to see which causes the problem before clicking on repair.
7. Just below the table, you will find a drop down menu saying “With selected”. Choose “repair table” and all the checked boxes will be repaired. Note that you may check all the boxes as you want (it didn’t do any harm on my blog after repair). Presto!
