Manny Pacquiao is now ready to hang up his golden boxing gloves.

On April 9, are we going to see the last of the many great fights of the Filipino pride?

In a press conference for his fight with Timothy Bradley Jr. in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Pacman said that it will be his last fight and will give the people a very great end fight from this great sportsman.

He also said that his passion is to help his countrymen and if the presidency is his destiny to help more of his people, then he will not refuse

The 37-year old congressman of Sarangani is seeking a seat in the senatorial slot this coming presidential election on May 9.  If his lucky to be elected, then he will eye next the presidency in 2022.

Promoter Bob Arum believes that Pacquiao has so much to give to make Philippines a great nation with his being compassionate with his countrymen’s plight and dreams that in the future, Philippines will be nation to recon with.

After his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr in what was called the richest bout in sport’s history, he said that even if he pushed the fight after the fourth round after he injured his right shoulder, many critized him of continuing the fight that caused his lost.

But he never regretted his decision to continue the fight.  Anyway, he still pocketed $150million!! And that’s the glory in his pain.

He insisted that his decision of retiring in boxing is purely his family’s decision and with thorough decision making, he gave in and will focus more in helping others.

With a 57-6-2, 38 knockouts record, and being the most colorful boxer in history, Pacquiao will retire a champion and soon be a legend in boxing history.
