The Holy Grail in a New Link Building Perspective

Making Link Building Easier

“Everybody has been searching for a long time now for the holy grail in link building. They didn’t find any !”- masterofthe

Link building have always been a challenge for so many years and this is what link builders in the SEO industry have been struggling to cope up with making it hard to get links in terms of quality. Some would resort to spamming to get links because they thought they’d get around with it. The different technologies contributed in making different link building schemes as effective as they are in the early days but today it is no more. We are saying goodbye in the aggressive type of link building and we are entering a new dawn to new perspectives and new ways and tactics to please the search engines.

Goodbye to Reciprocal Manager

We are now saying goodbye to the use of reciprocal manager because by experience, the search engines no longer love links and linking by the numbers especially if it is done via reciprocal linking. They still have their value but when we speak in numbers, it’s not as good to affect high rankings for your niche or target keywords anymore. The game of link building has been made easier today with lots of easy-to-get linking site that contain the quality statistics that search engines love, especially Google. A very good example of this is the sprouting like mushrooms, social media sites which, as of today the 3 major search engines love.

Go for High PR Social Media Sites

PR is a good indication that these social media sites are good for getting your links from but even if this is the case, these social media sites have become the most prone target for spamming, hence they learned to disallow it by adding the “nofollow” attribute to their outgoing links. On your part, if you are a link builder, you better learn first how to use them wisely so you can avoid getting your accounts closed. Social bookmarking sites as an example are known for their ability to propel you site’s inner pages when we speak of link building campaign. However, don’t forget to use those high PR sites because it is one indication that they are already there for some time as a trusted site by search engines.

Age Does Matter in Link Building

If the game of link building by the numbers is no longer what Google loves for a short period of time, remember that they can still be an effective way to gain leverage over the results in the long run. It also does not necessarily mean that if you have more links than others, you will also have all the advantages over your competition. Quality links do matter a lot and this is what it has been based on experience. Another important observation is that a site that has aged in the web through time is easier to take to the top with its target keywords rather than those that are new. What I mean is that they are literally easier to get ranked today than in the early days of belief by webmasters (by experience) so if you have to go over creating a site, it is a good consideration to go buy an old domain rather than start on a new one.

Using Press Releases and Articles

If in link building, one of today’s prime instruments is the use of social media sites, one important factor that never changed through time is the effectiveness of making articles and press releases. They have been effective in link building in the early days and they are still effective today in fact, I have seen it’s power in some short period SEO contests in making an entry stay on top over the others without literally doing anything at all in the last 3 days of hectic rush hour in pushing entries to gain top spot. Press releases and articles still give heavy weight positive effects in SEO and link building.

Hub Pages will Do the Trick in Deep Linking

Deep linking have always been a big problem in the early days of link building and link builders and so I made sure to give a little respect to some of the best hub page center out there who can do the trick for your deep link building efforts. What I am talking about are those hub pages out there like Squidoo and Hub Pages. Although social bookmarking sites already offer single deep linking for such needs, there are also Hub Pages than can cover up the sum of as much as you can when we are talking about deep link building. Squidoo for example allows as much links as you can post there without worrying of spamming their lenses. But even if this is the case with deep link building, it can help your efforts with the use of these Hub Pages if you limit the links that you will include in making your pages because the search engines might not like your page at all and might disregard all other links as well as your primary target anchor texts.

Don’t Blow your Deep Linking Opportunity

With this as the case, however, it is still to your advantage because if your lens gets featured in the panel of Squidoo, you can be assured that you still get traffic for your niche or the site that you are building deep links to. In the long run and in the overall process of the deep link building using hub pages, you still win. Don’t hesitate to make that first move but first, you have to read the rules so you can be sure what are allowed and what is not. Anywhere you go to get links from, be careful not to spam and go against the rules. You only get half the chance to do it so don’t blow it out. Deep linking has worked for my clients as well as for me so I am suggesting that you really really really take care of this opportunity and bear in mind that this is a one time advantage. It was really hard in the early days to do deep link building and most link builders would only rely on home page link building but today it has been made easier with social media sites and these hub pages so consider this as a once in a lifetime chance. You can’t go anywhere else if you blew this one out so READ THE RULES.

Link Building strategies have two key components- customers and search engines. it is high time we realize that building links only keeping in mind the search engines would not bring in the best results as link building is undertaken to drive more targeted traffic to a website. the link building strategies mentioned in your post are relevant and need t be implemented for success.

Great post, thank you. Your link building tips are quite to the point and should work very well. I would also add directory submission as a link building method. Though the directories accept the top domains only, directory submission is still an effective link building tactic.

I got tempted to try your blogfinder so I took a jump. I’ll see if I find it better than what Google has.
