I have talked to a few wedding planners in the Philippines where I attended a wedding last November 29, 2008 – my brother’s and it was a nice short conversation. It was such a good thing to be able to have a short talk to those people especially that most of them or all of them were Chinese. Yes, they were Chinese Wedding Planners and event organizers making your wedding a perfect event and since it was a Philippine wedding with a touch of Chinese motiff that I have to attend in my brother’s wedding , the Casuncad-Ambayec wedding, I had to to see how it goes for those guys who were heading the wedding arrangements from the church to the reception.
There were very few flaws which, we all know cannot be avoided most of the time. Overall, it was a perfect wedding. That was one wedding where in fact one most interesting part are the little mistakes (very little to mention) where you can learn from wedding arrangement by wedding planners and event organizers. One special moment however I must admit made me burst out my eye – the time that the wedding cake was entered on the floor. Indeed! It was a wedding cake made perfect for the wedding that day. Not really sure about what’s in it but I think it was the sweet red-motiff (chinese fengshui color meaning luck) pillow wedding cake arranged in a manner where you can clearly see from down below the biggest pillow and then rising up to the top with the smallest pillow. “Cute”, I must say. It was such a sweet moment when the couple – my brother Jonathan and Lorie went up to cut the said pillow wedding cake in red color and I can’t forget how happy they looked back there. I’m happy for you bro! More
