Brilante Mendoza Snatched Best Director in Cannes Film Festival

Brillante Mendoza and his masterpiece “Kinatay (The Execution of P)” as a director was able to snatch the best director to beat some of the best directors in Hollywood in the likes of Quentin Tarrantino who was know to have made so many great films. Kintay stars Maria Isabel Lopez and Coco Martin with Mercedes Cabral.
I salute director Brillante Mendoza for his accomplishment on his new film and I also would like to congratulate all the casts and crew of the film that won him and his whole film members the prestigious award of best director. Overall, there were about 20 films competing for the Cannes Festival awards which means that we have what it takes to be there and to receive such award.

I live overseas and I am happy and proud to learn that a Filipino director received the Best Director Award at the Cannes Festival. Wow! competing with the best of Hollywood directors. Mabuhay ang Pinoy.
