Who is Marites Danguilan Vitug? Lately, we have heard all about a controversial book written titled Shadow of Doubt: Probing the Supreme Court. I personally believe this book had a long long way to go and this is the same reason why I know that it will sell despite according to Marites Vitug, there are a few influential people who seems to be doing all they can to suppress the release of this book from day 1.

According to Marites, the book publisher even backed out of publishing the book and the reason is that its because it is too hot to handle. the local research funding institutions were also hesitant about funding the book research. Not sure why it was so but let me point out more about the author of the said book more than the controversy that she has created even before her book was released for public consumption.

Our country is badly in need of real heroes, not public relations inspired “heroes” which is the tendency of so called law enforcement or justice related individuals.
Journalists like Maritess Vitug IS the real courageous journalist that needs to be read by all patriotic and law abiding Filipinos of all ages.

I admire Maritess and the organizations she represents.

I offer prayers for her continued success and a model for upcoming journalists of all races who put their lives on the line for the sake of truth.

    Mabuhay ka Maritess!

    Much love and prayers.
