DFA Passport Requirements for Minors Below 18 Years Old
If there are DFA passport requirements for married women, surely there are also a different set of requirements for minors below 18 years old.

For Minors (below 18 years old)
- Personal appearance of either parent (if minor is of legitimate status).
- Personal appearance of mother (if minor is of illegitimate status)
- If minor is NOT traveling with either parent, you are going to need to pass or present the original and photocopy of DSWD clearance, affidavit of support and consent.
- If both parents are abroad, the affidavit of support and consent (must be authenticated by the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate General if not executed before a Consul).
- Special power of attorney (must be authenticated by the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate General if not executed before a Consul designating the representative by name and authorizing him to apply for a passport on behalf of the minor).
- Passport and photocopy of the passport of the traveling companion of the minor and identification card and photocopy thereof of the duly authorized person.

,,,good day, ikuha ko po ng passport ang anak ko,, 17 na po sya. kailangan ko lang po kasi maisama sa aplication ko ang photo copy ng passport nya kasi may application po ako as skilled migrant,, ask ko lang po kung ano requirements na kailangan. legitimate po anak ko pero separated kmi ng asawa ko w/o papers,, pwede po ba ako maglakad ng passport nya? thanks and god bless.

ask ko lang po sana kung ano requirements pagkuha ng passport kc minor pa mga kids ko kailangan pa ba kumuha sa dswd?kasama ko naman po cla.
Kids lamang po without a guardian or parents ang hinihingian ng DSWD certification to travel. Kung kasama naman po kayo ay hindi na kailangan ito.

hello po! im here in US, napadala ko na po yung affidavit of concent sa sister ko to re-new the passport of my kids, kaso po ni-re-require ang clearance ng DSWD on both parents. Lost contact na po kami sa father ng mga bata at wala pong ma provide na consent from the father or any valid ID’s. Anu po ba ang mga dapat pang gawin at kailanganin?
