What are the requirements for SOLAS training

Manila, Philippines January 20, 2011 – SOLAS training requirements may differ depending on where or what country you will take the training. List of Requirements

  • Free seat reservation and training booking (optional) usually 2-3 days before session starts.
  • At least high school graduate
  • Valid primary ID upon enrollment (SSS, Company ID, School ID, Passport or Driver’s License)
  • Medical certificate (must be physically fit to train) from an accredited clinic

Apart from the list of basic pre qualifying requirements and documents needed as set by the different MARINA accredited training centers enumerated above, the tuition fee for SOLAS training costs about Php 5,000 on an 8-day duration of training. Also make sure that the school or training center you will enroll the course with is duly accredited by the right government agencies like OWWA, MARINA, MTC PRC and TESDA.
