We Won in the Star City Halloween Contest 2011

Two 3rd place is not bad for starters. Just doing this short post entailing our win in the recent Star City Halloween costume contest. We had 2 entries coming in upon joining the said prestigious yearly event and I am glad we won this one. It’s actually our first time to join and knowing we are rookies in making custom costumes in the Philippines, we are glad we did it.
Despite the flaws in the organization of the said contest, we managed to get 2 spots in 2 categories out of 3 available for joining the Halloween contest. We won 3rd in the mystical category and haunted category respectively. We don’t have an entry in the fairytale category as time did not permit us to go make another costume for that one. Maybe next year in Star City Halloween costume contest 2012.
In the midst of our winning under Creartume Creative Costume company which I have initialized to put up with an artist friend, Lori Pacampara, one of the makers of the ended GMA popular teleserye, Mulawin, people have been cheering and flashing their cameras in our 2 entries. Some of them personally thinks we should win the said contest.
Well, that’s how it is for us and our team with the help of young and aspiring Love as our makeup artist and assistant to Lori. As for the contest organizers, we just hope to win all first place the next time as we hope to leave no loopholes with our creative costumes. I’ll be putting here the photos of the 2 entries we have in the said Halloween costume contest in Star City soon after our vacation in Cavite.
