Insurance in the Philippines

The Philippine insurance business seems to be booming these days. Since I now live in San Pedro, Laguna I pass by the South Luzon Express Way to and from work here in Makati and I see lots of these Philippine insurance agencies’ huge billboards along the hi-way.

There’s AXA which offers life insurance, Sun Life Financial, I’ve seen some car insurance companies as well. I remember having seen a mobile phone insurance company too.
