A few years back Paypal Philippines have opened up. Webmasters as well as merchants are glad because of this. There was even a signature campaign which I signed up with to take part in the request to make Paypal available in the Philippines.

How to Apply for Paypal Account

Now, it has been the leader in online merchant payment services. For this reason, I decided to blog about how to open a Paypal account in the Philippines and start to send and receive money with online transaction that is the most secure to date. Please follow the instructions below.

Step 1. Visit their website by clicking on Sign Up for Paypal. You can find the log in / sign up link at the top right corner of the page.

Step 2. Select the country or region where you currently stay then choose the type of Paypal account with which you are interested to sign up for.

You will be presented with 3 choices – personal, premier and business account. If you are merchant selling goods or services, I would suggest that you go for either the last 2 choices.

Step 3. Choose your language preference and confirm your choice. Then you will be asked to fill in a form asking for your personal details and classification as a signup.

Step 4. You will be asking you to verify your Paypal account sign up. After verification, you will be asked to add a credit card or debit card. You may skip this step if you do not have one as of now but it will be required from you later on if you are interested to receive or pay money online using Paypal.

Step 5. An e-mail will arrive with a confirmation link that you will be asked to click.  After confirming, you are now a certified Paypal account owner.

Congratulations! You are now a Paypal member account holder.
