Nutrition Month Philippines 2012 Theme – “Pagkain ng gulay ugaliin, araw-araw itong ihain”
I’ve been on the lookout for a couple of days now regarding details that would tell me what is the official theme to the upcoming celebration of Nutrition Month in the Philippines this year, 2012. I couldn’t find any or I might just be having a hard time trying to find the right keywords to type in my browser. Either which, I strongly believe that the problem lies with me because if not, I would come up with the official website of the Philippine government the launches press releases and updates to the said yearly tradition event.
In my search today, after struggling to find more information, I finally found a couple of blog posts pointing to the official theme for 2012 nutrition month in the country. I took the advantage to jot it down and have it posted here in my blog so I could have new updates to my health concerns category in the sidebar. Part of this is to provide relevant information that others may benefit from. Details posted below.
Not actually announced by the official National Nutrition Council website, http://www.nnc.gov.ph/, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) in my search for information regarding the this year’s theme is where I finally got a hold of the information. As Filipinos celebrate the Nutrition Month, the said theme event will be focused in the title, “Pagkain ng gulay ugaliin, araw-araw itong ihain”. I’ve listed this in my post title so others may easily find it and not have a hard time like what I had for a couple of days now.
The actual celebration date which is July 2012 will be the highlight of the event so expect that anytime soon now since June is fast approaching, the government will be announcing it in different local government websites as well as a media press release. I hope this turns out to be a great celebration this year more than what is happening today at the Senate hearing of the Corona impeachment trial. It’s all non sense and I don’t get it to this day why spend so much time proving nothing. Corona is so witty with his allies and I strongly believe that this will get nowhere. The drama is hot and the trial is spending the people’s money which should have been re-channeled to promote a healthy environment or better yet, a nation full of professionals via education to recover from brain drain.
