10,000 Jobs in Guam for Pinoys

July 2nd, 2009 posted by Philippines Review

Overseas Filipino workers (OFW) will be among the first priority for employment to JOBS IN GUAM in a press release I read from the Business Mirror today and the Sun Star online news. The said opening of job opportunities for Guam was also featured in the news in ABS-CBN and according to reports, there will be about 10,000 jobs soon to be generated out of the transfer of facilities of U.S. Marines from Okinawa, Japan.

Gov. Felix Camacho in a press statement at the Makati World Renaissance Hotel said that Filipinos were chosen simply because of their experience of working overseas added to skills and being well versed to speaking the native language of Guam which is English. “It is not exclusive but the likelihood is that most will be from the Philippines,” Camacho said which takes the Philippines above all to fill up the jobs in Guam soon.
