Canada Jobs Application – POEA Advisory
Canada jobs application is not accepted in POEA. You have to go straight at the recruitment agency posted in POEA website to apply. This is a press release by Philippine Overseas Employment Agency to Filipinos who are looking for jobs in Canada.
The POEA made a clear manifestation that they are not the ones who are recruiting for job openings for local provinces in Canada such as British Columbia, Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Instead, the different local provinces mentioned have signed up a memorandum of agreement with them (POEA) that these same provinces in Canada were recruiting OFWs or overseas Filipino workers through licensed recruitment agencies.

It is however advised by the POEA that applicants for jobs in Canada directly submit their resumes or CVs to recruitment agencies with approved job orders from Canadian employers. Be aware however, according to the POEA that these agencies are not at all allowed to collect a single centavo in placement fees from workers who are looking to work in Canada provinces as mentioned above this paragraph.
