Why hiring? Well it’s because as a Philippine naval officer, you get to be paid a basic salary or if under training, you get to be paid your trainee’s salary as a recruit. Please note that there are also categories to which you might fall if you want to apply for navy hiring this year, 2012. I have listed them all below for your information. Qualification and Requirements:

NAVAL OFFICERS CANDIDATE COURSE (NOCC)

• Must be a natural born Filipino citizen and of good moral character
• Must be between 21-28 years old
• Single
• Graduate of a 4-year baccalaureate degree (preferably technical courses)
• Height of at least 5′ 0 ” for both males/females
• Must not have any pending civil/criminal case
• Physically and mentally fit for training
• Must pass the AFPATB, IQ and SWE exams

BASIC SEAMAN COURSE (BSC)

• Must be a natural born Filipino citizen and of good moral character
• Must be between 18-23 years old
• Single
• Holder of at least 72 units or graduate of a 2-year vocational course (preferably technical courses).
• Height of at least 5′ 0 ” for both males and females
• Must not have any pending civil/criminal case
• Physically and mentally fit for training
• Must pass the AFPATB, IQ and SWE exams
