2008 MMFF Entry – “Magkaibigan” by Jinggoy Estrada

The Metro Manila Film Festival movies are a traditional yearly occasion for the Filipinos. This movie festival is held each year just exactly on the day of Christmas. This year, 2008, there are again so many MMFF 2008 movie entries and one of which is Magkaibigan. Magkaibigan is an MMFF official entry. Jinggoy Estrada produces and and acts as the lead role in the said movie.

Magkaibigan (friends in English) is also said to be based in the true to life story of the late actor Rudy Fernandez and will serve as the tribute to their friendship in the movie industry for many many years now. This movie hopes to take the attention and capture the heart of the movie enthusiasts for love of the late actor who happened to be best buddy in the movie industry by the now Philippine Senator Jinggoy Estrada. Last year, Jinggoy won the best actor award for his movie and this year, I hope he will make it again and I would like to bid him good luck to his movie as this is truly a movie that will promote good friendship and camaraderie in Filipinos.
