Charice Pempengco Gets Standing Ovation in Obama Pre-Inaugural Ball
Charice Pempengco once again was famed by the Americans in the Obama pre-inaugural ball when she sang God Bless America. Just as when Charice Pempengco was about to finish the second national anthem of the United States – God Bless America, the child superstar singer with the voice of a million angels was given a standing ovation for her own rendition of the song.
In an interview, Charice Pempenco admitted that she is very proud to be given the chance to sing America’s second national anthem, knowing that she is a Filipino and it was a rare privilege that she will have to face when she set on the stage to sing the historical and precious song. She also said that she is very excited but a little bit shaky to sing the said song but what interests me the best is she did it in a flash and full of feelings for the president of the United States.
Charice Pempengco gleamed the Filipinos with pride doing the number and singing God Bless America with her heart and with passion knowing that she isn’t even an American. Charice, this is to let you know that you made us proud even more with this event and I personally wish you more good things to come your way and make us, Filipinos proud because of you and your voice that I can only describe is a “voice of a million angels” combined.
