Charice Pempengco Performs in Obama Inauguration

Charice Pempengco, the international child singing star from the Philippines is said to be performing in the inauguration of Barack Obama in Washington on January 20, 2009. This buzz came from the very mother of Charice Pempengco herself in a report in the official website new of ABS-CBN channel 2 network. I just read the news release today early morning and decided to put up my own announcement on the supposedly scheduled performance of Charice Pempengco at the presidential inauguration of U.S. president elect Barack Obama.

Racquel Pempengco, announced the confirmation to staff of ABS-CBN in a show titled Wonder Mom anchored by Karen Davila in a show episode that tackled the excellence and success of the child singing sensation, Charice Pempengco and her way to world recognition. The show is not yet aired as it is a taping first where the revelation of the said scheduled performance was set for the presidential inauguration in the U.S. the showing of the Wonder Mom episode will be aired on January 17, in ABS-CBN channel 2.

The buzz was generated since last year but there weren’t any other confirmation about the said scheduled event for Charice Pempengco to perform in theĀ  said event. On the episode on Wonder Mom where she is featured for the show on January 17, you can now find the official announcement coming from the mother of the child superstar.

Today, Charice Pempengco had been very busy lately with a lot of acquaintances and guest appearances abroad as well as in preparing today for the scheduled upcoming performance in the presidential inauguration. This event is considered as a global event where literally billions of people from around the world will be watching on the very day. This is also one of the biggest chance that the Charice Pempengco will be able to show the world what she is really made of.

Meanwhile, Charice Pempengco was also earlier tagged by People Asia Magazine to be on the official list of prestigious People of the Year 2008 in Asia. She was be awarded for the achievement with vice president Noli De Castro, former president Cory Aquino, Sen. Manny Villar and others.
