Pacquiao vs Hatton is Off: Pacquiao Refuses a 52-48 Share Last Call

I personally feel good after watching the news at 7PM today telling that the Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton fight is off because Pacquiao did not make the last call today earlier given to him by Hatton’s camp which is supposed to be today at 6PM.

It’s true that Manny will be the challenger to this fight and it is also true that Hatton is the champion when they will be meeting in the ring but it is also true that Manny Pacquiao has all that it takes to be refused of a 60-40 share in the fight because he deserved it after defeating Oscar Dela Hoya and becoming the best pound for pound fighter in the world. This is after the resignation of Floyd Mayweather Jr who left the ring undefeated.

Hatton cannot be the one to call for a last warning. I really personally feel that it is the time for Pacquiao to be stiff in his decision to only fight the raging bull, Hatton in a 60-40 revenue share. He deserves it and I cannot think of anything else but those very same figure that the Philippines best fighter is also after.

There is no loss for Pacquiao in this fight but Hatton on the other hand will have everything to gain except for the right price that he thinks he deserve. I’m not saying that he does not deserve the 50 % that he is looking for in a fight but what I am saying is that he shouldn’t be asking for it with the fight against Pacquiao if he really wants a fight to go on. This time, the leverage is on Pacquiao and not in Hatton.
