An update of Typhoon Ondoy at the Inquirer.Net late tonight reports that there were already 9 people dead due to the ravaging winds and endless rains all over Metro Manila and surrounding provinces.

Aside from the fact that 23 provinces were already declared ravaged and under state of calamity (including Metro Manila), 100 families in Metro Manila alone are already displaced. I bet that tomorrow morning will witness a big growth in fatalities to evacuation.

Here alone in some part in Caloocan, specifically here where we live, the flood took us on a waist deep level which is the first time ever we’ve had since the 80 in time of typhoon Didang. Watch Typhoon Ondoy’s flood in video from YouTube below.

This I believe is the worst that hit Manila for a time. We need to help each other out and forget political differences first.

Makikita natin ang mga totoong kulay ng mga kakandidato sa pangyayaring ito.

We’re reaching out to all the bloggers who talk about the Philippines in an urgent appeal for them to tell their readers about the disaster that transformed the country this weekend.

The torrential rains that pounded the Philippines, has resulted in more than 1.8 million people being immediately affected.

We, the UN World Food Programme, has identified at least 178 000 families in need of immediate food aid.

Please would you consider telling the readers of your blog about their situation, and encourage them to go to to donate? Also if you’re active on social networks, it would help to tell other about it there too.

Even the smallest amounts help: $18 can feed a family for 2 weeks!

    Warmest regards

Well, I agree. But for now we should be ready for more stronger and ravaging storms
and help other people who affected by the previous Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng.
