POEA Employment Agencies

POEA Hiring Agency

POEA Jobs and Accredited Agencies

It is a popular search these days for people, especially Pinoys and OFWs looking to work abroad to first go find available POEA employment agencies. This way, it would be easier to find the right job by seeking what opportunities are open for application to the duly accredited and licensed recruitment firms. If you have the same aim as what I have mentioned above, then you surely could benefit from this tip.

How to Find the Right Employment Agency

To find the perfect employment agency, you don’t have to go after the jobs they offer, you have to know first if that agency is duly accredited by your governing institution. In the case of Filipinos looking for overseas jobs, it’s the Philippines Overseas Employment Administration (POEA). Another authority in knowing recruitment agencies and at the same time a good resource for this is the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

How to Check Agency Accreditation and License

POEA

I know only 1 way to determine which agency is duly licensed and accredited in the Philippines and that is through POEA as I’ve listed above as one of the authoritative resources for employment and people seeking one abroad. To check if the agency you are applying for overseas job is legitimate, you will either have to go to the official website and enter the agency name (this is case sensitive) (capital letters should be capitalized while lower case letters should be small).

If you want to know another way to check if a recruitment agency is duly licensed, you will have to go find it online. Try using Jobstreet.Com with the POEA extension in the URL or website URL. Here is where you could use the search box to see if an agency is present in their listing for POEA jobs. Alongside each of their job listing is the license validity or duration. If a license is expired, it will likely not have a job listing offer in Jobstreet.Com.
