Noynoy Aquino Declares 2010 Philippine Election Candidacy

A signature campaign pushing NoyNoy Aquino to run for presidency has been launched a few weeks ago. The senator did not hurry his decision but instead went to the Carmelite in Zamboanga for a retreat and promised to announce his decision this September 9, 2009.

Early today in Club Filipino where his mother, Cory Aquino, the former Philippine president took her oath in her presidency to become the 11th and 1st woman president of the Philippines, Senator NoyNoy Aquino announced that he will run for president in the 2010 Philippine Elections.

He also said that he already offered to yielding Liberal Party president Mar Roxas to become his vice president. While other politicians hoping to to announce their candidacy already pledged full support instead to NoyNoy Aquino on his run for the presidency in 2010 – Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.

In the meantime, rumored NoyNoy Aquino girlfriend Shalani Soledad said she will give her full support for the senator in his candidacy.
