PBA Result: Game 3 takes TNT to 3rd win over Tigers, it’s a 3-0 finals advantage for Tropang Texters

At first, I saw it differently. I thought that with that crucial shot by point guard, Jvee Casio (what’s his height?), the Powerade Tigers took game 3 finals to an overtime. It was almost impossible it seems but they did it anyway. 5 points ahead are the Tropang Texters when the ball was with the Tigers. A shot took the team to a 3 point deficit with them below by 3 points and the ball is in the side of Talk N Text.

Now with just 3.3 seconds and Sean Anthony out of the game with the last foul he gave to stop the clock, I can’t imagine how the Tigers could ever escape the winning streak of TNT but it was a miracle and quite fast. With Jvee Casio running and his team down by 3 points, he ran and went straight to the 3-point line. His shot was a bit contested by the running TNT texters but he did it. The bell sounded and the score was tie to 121-121.

In the overtime, there’s nothing that Powerade can do. The final score of game 3 ended to a 133-126 and the best player of the game was Ranidel de Ocampo who gave his team most of the winning points and crucial shots inside and out of the painted area. Ranidel got more than 20 points and that is enough to stop the Tigers from taking the 3rd game from them. Now, it’s a 3-0 win and run streak for TNT. Let’s move on to the 4th game. Will the Tigers get it or will the Tropang Texters take them down to a history-in-the-making, 4-0 winning streak.
