Jake Cuenca as Gay Son in MMK Episode

Last week’s Maalaala Mo Kaya episode featured hunk actor Jake Cuenca as a gay son who was battered by his father while his mother gently weeps for him and tells him to be calm. This was shown in an October 15, 2011 MMK episode. Vivian Velez plays the role of a too much loving wife that her love drove her to let go of her husband upon learning that he had another woman back in Spain (Ricky Davao).

In Spain where Jake was succomed to come over by his mom, thinking that he would witness a happy family together, he was in shock finding out that his parents were already separated without him and other siblings knowing it. His mother hid the truth that she and her husband were already separated long ago until a tragedy came and Ricky Davao, the husband suffered stroke.

Jake, in his effort to show his father that he still loves him despite all the emotional sufferings and beating that he went through under his rule of law inside the house as the head of the family, still managed to get himself to accept that his father needs him.
