The MMK YouTube episode last night was great. Maalaala Mo Kaya featured Nikki Gil and Billy Crawford, real life admitted sweethearts. The story was all about two people who fell in love with each other. A dying diabetic girl and a pastor in a local church.

Nikki Gil in the story was a diabetic who had so many complications brought about by her disease which eventually led to the blurring of her eyes. The pastor (Toto) who met Nene (Nikki Gil) did all he could to help the girl get a free operation through a foundation because her family cannot afford. After the successful operation, Nene came to see the true beauty of the world again.

That was the time both developed a stronger relationship that led them to marriage. Just before the marriage was set, Nene again suffered complications brought by her diabetes. She lost her sight once more and eventually, her 2 kidneys followed that took her life. Toto never left her and stood by her all the time while she suffered. Watch the video below.
