UMID means or stands for Unified Multipurpose ID stages in replacement of the GSIS eCard Plus by the Government Service Insurance System in the Philippines for all government employee and workers.
Guide on How to Enroll for the UMID-Compliant eCard
Below are the 4 simple steps to apply or enroll for the UMID-compliant eCard: (source:gsis.gov.ph)
1. Approach the assigned security office in the entrance and present agency/office identification, senior citizen card (for pensioner) and eCard Plus for proper identification.
Security officer will give form/s for fill-out and queuing number.
2. Proceed to the queuing officer when called and present the properly accomplished form, valid IDs and queue number.
Queuing officer will guide you to the information/update station.
3. Present the valid IDs and forms to the assigned officer.
If no update in SAP Prod, information officer will update enrollment application file. Once done, the officer will guide you to the data capture station.
If needs update in SAP Prod, information officer will guide you to the validation station before proceeding to the data capture station.
4. Present the valid ID and forms to the assigned officer.
