Presently, there are 2 existing levels for the Career Service Examination (CSE). This first one is the professional level while the other is the sub-professional level that we came to call mostly as the sub-pro level. Please refer below for the specified qualifications for both levels of examination should you be one of those looking to take it or apply for one. Special Note:

Applicants Professional and Sub-Professional levels must:

1. Be Filipino citizens, at least 18 years old, and of good moral character;
2. Have no criminal record or have not been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
3. Have not been dishonorably discharged from military service or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government; and
4. Have not taken the same level of career service examination within three (3) months from last examination taken, or for those who have repeatedly failed, have not failed the same level of examination for four times since October 2002.
