Are you a member of Pag Ibig Fund and a victim of typhoon Ondoy? Is your area declared under calamity? If so, then this entitles you to apply for Pag Ibig calamity loan. Announcement in the news had it that Pag- Ibig Fund Philippines will allow their members who have been living in calamity areas to apply for the said loan.

According to the announcing officials, there is already an allotted budget for Pag Ibig calamity loan and application is now open. For your calamity loan forms, you can download them at the official website of Pag-Ibig Fund at – http://www.pagibigfund.gov.ph/. A member may borrow up to 80% of his total savings.

Be sure to acquire a certificate from your barangay office duly signed by the barangay chairman as you may use it to prove that you live in an area that has been declared to be under calamity. A few more calamity loan requirements are member should have at least 24 monthly contributions, actively paying monthly remittance.
