What Triggers Penalty for Busby SEO Challenge Entries?
I think I found something that triggers sites in the Busby SEO contest to get penalized and go down the drain every time an effort gets in the way. I will not yet disclose any but I bet most of us already know about this especially if you have been in the SEO and Link Building industry for quite a while. It’s been discussed so many times that some old SEO people might have forgotten about it. In fact it might have dated way back in the 2004 to 2005 book of Linking and Link Building Theory Do’s and Dont’s.
The Old Book Reminds Me of an Old System on a New Google
It was or could be Google after all and some kind of a network filter (at least according to what I found) that sifts or filters all the unnatural linking structure that it eventually finds to be interlinked in a manner that is not healthy and conspicuous of manipulation of rankings using link numbers.
Still Looking for some Concrete Answers to the Penalty
I’m looking into it but up to this time, It’s the only reason I see that got our entries penalized by Google. If I see this entry to gain rankings in a day or two without us doing anything for this Busby SEO contest entry, then that can confirms it (50% sure). Some of you I know even got frustrated that after a few trials and effort to push your entries still seem to gain only fatal drop way down.
After Changing my Offpage Link Structure
The game of link building today seems not to be concentrated in the numbers but instead in how you do interlinking/link building or what I would love to call as link structure. So it has to something to do with how you use all your resources in interlinking and giving links to your entry to this challenge. Anyway, this is just an opinion that is based in some old theories and findings.I know many of you out there understand what I mean and right after making a few changes on my links, I was surprised to find out that we landed again on an 8 page roar up the results. Well, it’s up to you, either way, you loose nothing at all and as a last tip, don’t scratch all your resources so that there will be something left for the last blow. Use your links wisely.
