Manila Spas: The Spa Day Massage (Reflexology) Treatment Package quest

Apart from beauty spas in malls all over Metro Manila, there are quite a growing number of spa massage therapy services that offer day treatment and it is actually what I am looking for using my online skills of research today. Called a few contact numbers and found out some of them on my list no longer maintain their telephones.

My purpose for this post is to serve as a spafinder where people can see the different rates, websites, location address and branches as well as telephone numbers and email address in their area easily.

With this in mind, expect to see a large list of business on this particular health and wellness quest. I might even be listing some related services of shiatsu, sweedish, reflexology, thai massage and aroma therapy massage. I will be enlisting here some (if not all) of the most popular and cheap rate spas up to the most luxury and cozy ambiance places I can find without the need to visit each and every one of them.

A few calls is enough including a glance at the business websites will help me determine which business is legitimate and professional with their services. You must know what I mean here as some folks out there use the name spa for providing other hanky panky services and I don’t want that to be included in here as much as possible so if you find any on my list and you know they are, please kindly message me using my comments section.

I’ll be writing short reviews from my finds on the internet for the common names that are well-known in their industry. Although one of the rising types of service today in the Philippines especially in malls is the nail spa, what I am looking forward here is to feature massage services and not just the salon-type of service but will be putting up short notes about them too every once in a while on this writeup.

All spas listed above offer their own treatment and service package. They sometimes differ depending upon the location of their respective branches. For example, a spa branch in Bonifacio Global City would cost you more with their service offer than those in their Makati branch. On the other hand, if you are looking to find massage packages, they usually offer shiatsu, thai, reflexology, acupressure (pressure points), swedish, aroma therapy, body scrub and more. These services will depend on the facilities. Some would even offer jacuzzi bath, steam bath, sauna dry bath and more like that of Wesha Spa.

Amongst all, the very different service however is that of Ace Water Spa where you get a full treat of hot water pool plunge where the massage is done via hydro pressure to the body within the pool. They also have sauna and jacuzzi dip in 3 flavors of aroma, jasmin, mint and (forgot the other one). I’ve been here twice and I must say this is something different for a treat.

If you are out for a legitimate reflexology service, you can try Raz at Bonifacio Global City. I haven’t tried their service yet to the making of this post but a resource told me they are accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) for their reflexology massage services. In case you do not know, only DOH certified and licensed practitioners are allowed to practice reflexology in the Philippines. The rest is just the hanky panky service while there might be some that is worth it but that is a rare case due to experience.
