4 Purposes of SSS OFW Housing Loan
Every loan has its purpose, with the Philippines Social Security System, however, there are 4 listed basic purposes for the SSS OFW housing loan. If you are an overseas Filipino worker and is looking to avail of the said program, you should know all about it.
Below are the 4 purposes with which you can use in your SSS housing loan application if you are an OFW. My upcoming posts about this matter will include the standard basic loan that any member may avail of. subscribe to my feeds below to get updates.
- Construction of a new house or dwelling unit on a lot owned by the applicant free from lien/encumbrances;
- Purchase of a lot and construction thereon of a new house or dwelling unit;
- Purchase of an existing residential unit which may be a house and lot, a condominium unit or a townhouse; and
- Purchase of an existing residential unit foreclosed by SSS, GSIS, HDMF (Pag-Ibig), HGC and other GFIs.

pls give me full details about the requirements how to avail loan.I bought a lot but I need money for house construction. Pls send me the contibution charts and the amount you can avail, like PAGIBIG more info for the members the more you can help us esp sa OFWs gaya namin.

Good afternoon, would just want to know how could I qualify for a pension just in case I reach the age of 60. Presently I am working in the Kingdom of Bahrain and would like to know the requirements and qualifications of how to be a pensioner. Appreciate also if you could advise how many months contribution as an SSS members to qualify.
At the same time I bought a small parcel of land and would like to know how could I avail a loan for house construction. what are your terms and how to qualify for this type of loan as well.
