SSS Calamity Loan
Typhoon Ondoy devastated the whole Philippine archipelago and SSS calamity loan is on the way for most Filipinos who were affected by the calamity the Ondoy left. Many of us would like to know how to apply for SSS calamity loan so I decided to post a short guide for its application.

SSS Calamity Loan Application
First, secure your SSS calamity loan form. Then secure all requirements before you file the form duly filled up with information needed by the Social Security System (SSS) Philippines. You have to have barangay certificate to prove that you live in the area that has been included in declared calamity striken by typhoon Ondoy (or any calamity).
By definition, the SSS says that – “SSS calamity loan is a loan intended to meet the emergency credit needs of a member who is a victim of a natural disaster in a locality declared as a calamity area.” For other supporting posts on concerns for interest, who qualifies and delinquency interest rates of the SSS calamity loan, please refer to my other posts below.

many families are in need of financial assistance. this is the time they need it most. this is the time where they can utilize their contributions for so many months, years… unfortunately, the content on how calamity loan could be applied were removed from the official sss website. salary is different from calamity loan. why diverted to “renewal” of existing salary loan? no enough funds? is that it? kung kailan kailangan ng taong-bayan, saka naman wala… ano ba yan?
