According to the Wikepedia article that I read today while researching for the Irish word Erin Go Bragh, that Erin go Bragh is “the Anglicization of a Gaelic phrase used to express allegiance to Ireland. It is most often translated as “Ireland Forever“, and pronounced /??r?n g? br??/.”

Well I really don’t know anything about it at all until I came across a post that caught my attention about this Erin Go Bragh word. This is where I learned that like any other countries in the world, there are certain amounts of people who occupy a large scale of territory that they have come to call as their own and has left a vast culture track that up to this point in time of the history cannot be put aside and let alone because they have adopted to the culture of the people who live in majority over the early people whom the Erin Go Bragh points to.

This is part of culture diversity and mixture that others are proud of even if they just occupy a certain small percentage of the population. This is celebrated on March 17, where literally millions of Americans drink some would only describe as a foul tasting beer colored green. They intentionally get drunk and shout in the streets ” Erin go Bragh” and some “Top O’ the Mownin’ To Ye”. These people call themselves as Irish and they do the Erin go Bragh every year in their own locals and streets shouting and getting drunk with green beer. This is also in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
