Antipolo Swimming Pools

Summer heat is here. It’s March fire prevention month which means that people rush in to Antipolo swimming pools to see and plunge to the list of different choices this summer. There are 2 basic choices for your Antipolo resort visit and it may be either a private pool or public pool in the area. See my own review and experience with respect to these 2 types of swimming pools in resorts today.

Private Pool

The difference with each is that private pools get rented for the whole villa or house including the resort’s swimming pool and they usually nurse just a small pool where a family gathering is ideal. I remember we regularly rent a private pool in Laguna for our yearly celebration of family reunion. Public swimming pools include private rooms, videoke, billiards, a cooking station or kitchen with shellane or gasul gas and a kalan with which you can cook food. Nobody else can use the resort except for you and the people you are with in this case.

How Much is the Cost Plus Advantage and Disadvantage of Private vs Public Pools

If you ask me how much private swimming pools and resorts cost during peak season or summer from February to May, well, they usually cost from Php 3,000.00 – Php 10,000.00 depending on the size of the pool and area of the whole resort, amenities and rooms. This price is based in Laguna private pools because we have been there so many times for our family reunion gatherings. We have also rented different resorts there.

With a public pool however, you can pay the entrance and enjoy the summer fun with other people renting perhaps your own room / hotel or cottage where you can safely put all your stuff and important belongings. The downside here is that sometimes, your belongings get stolen (I don’t know who) so be extra careful if you are not renting a private room. Also, with public pools, sometimes the pool waters were not properly treated with chlorine so you become more prone to different skin diseases and drinking dirty water.

Reminders and Tips Overnight vs Day Tour Options

If you really prefer Antipolo swimming pools over other resorts out there like Laguna or Bulacan which is by the way nearer in Manila, you better think twice. An overnight stay in any Antipolo resort would be nice and worth it but if you are only out for summer adventure and fun in the pool, you have to reconsider a nearer venue. In this case, I would strongly recommend that you choose Bulacan resorts rather than overlooking the city lights.

Antipolo Vs Bulacan Swimming Pools and Resorts:

Why I came up with this is simply because as I’ve mentioned earlier above, Antipolo is too far and traffic with traffic clogged streets, you’d be wasting time for transportation than the time you spend in swimming pools trying to have fun. What I mean is that for an Antipolo summer plunge and escapade to resort pools, you have to gear up for an overnight stay while a Bulacan resort choice could surely give you your money’s worth when we speak of time spent traveling alone. Bulacan resort venues are way practical than Antipolo speaking of time consciousness and money expenditure wise but it’s always up to you. This is just a tip based from my own experience.

I’m not saying Antipolo is not a good place to start your summer vacation, swimming with friends and loved ones but Bulacan could offer you the same or even better options while enjoying the same quality of service and fresh clean air in resorts. The only advantage with the latter is that their location. Antipolo had a great astounding and breath-taking location with their resorts situated in hills and overlooking the city lights at night so if you are not prepared or geared up for an overnight stay, better go for Bulacan resorts. But on the other hand, if you travel really early in the wee hours of the morning, i’d still recommend Antipolo. Enjoy your stay in your choice of resorts with hotels inside if you may but be sure to reserve a room earlier than your visit.
