Ciudad Clemente Resort in Bulacan
January 5, 2011 update:
If you are someone who won’t go for crowded resorts in Bulacan and other near Metro Manila resorts, here is a choice that I would strongly recommend – Ciudad Clemente. This resort can be found in Paombong Bulacan and the budget is amazingly very low for people who are tight on their finances.
We went to this resort a few weeks ago and I must say that it is really worth it to come over or make your early reservation and accommodation. Room rates are very affordable aside from the fact that the travel time is very short being near Metro Manila. Ciudad Clemente in Paombong Bulacan is truly the perfect place to have your summer vacation. I was just unlucky not be able to post pictures here for you eye feast but next time, I will.
By the way, the rates go like – big room with aircondition and 3 beds (double deck) + 1 more bed = only Php 2,000.00 for an overnight stay. I’m sure that with this size you can bring in the whole family with you and enjoy summer fun in the private pool. You will also be graced with not needing to bring in any food because the public market is just a block away from the resort, making it easy to attend to all sorts of food you will need.
How to get to Ciudad Clemente
Monumento is your nearest quarantine point if you come from Metro Manila. From there, you can come over to LRT 5th avenue station and take the ride in vans below waiting for passengers. You will pay Php 50.00 per head to reach Hagonoy Bulacan Jollibee branch. Not sure if there are other routes you can take aside from this or if you can travel stratight to Paombong that would be good.
After this, you can take a jeepney ride to Paombong Public Market which is a major landmark that no driver can miss just don’t forget to tell the driver to drop you off there – fee is minimum at Php 7.00 per head. Look for the backside of the public market and from there you will be graced with the Ciudad Clemente resort.
If you plan to go overnight, you will be obliged to pay for Php 100.00 per head which is advisable for all your friends and family members to enjoy. Other possible new name for this resort is Ciudad Clementino in San Isidro Paombong Bulacan.
An alternative route however is to take Baliuag Transit Bus to Hagonoy Bulacan which you can get either at Divisoria or Cubao terminal. There is one terminal at 2nd Avenue in avenida near R.Papa station LRT but I am not sure if they have trips to Hagonoy. Will try next time to see the travel options and variations for reaching Ciudad Clemente. Have fun.
