How to get to Manaoag Church
Looking for information on how to get to Manaoag Church? This place in Pangasian is actually site to yearly thousands of people flocking to this pilgrimage place every Lenten season. People here buy the miraculous and healing oil. If you are on the lookout for it this Holy Friday or Maundy Thursday, the best option to get to Manaoag Church is to take the route via the NLEX or North Luzon Express Way.
I got this information through a good Samaritan citizen in Yahoo Answers and found out that it is indeed the best route to take (the NLEX waypoint). From the NLEX, head straight to Sta. Ines exit. If you are to take the commuter’s route, simply take a ride on a Dagupan Bus Liner in Cubao, Quezon City. You will be embarking right at the Manaoag proper where the Manaoag Church is just a few steps away. See photo of Manaoag Church above.
When you are in the market place in Urdaneta, do stay alert for an intersection. Try to see the signboard on the next intersection that says “Manaoag”. Some 7 more kilometers away from the main road is where you will find the actual church. The whole trip, according to some online info will take you 5 hours heavy traffic and 4 hours on regular traffic. If you are in Manaoag, please don’t forget to go grab a taste of the popular Puto Calasiao .
