Zamborga in Calaguas Island Tour Fresh Buco Juice Drinking Session
With a 6 to 8-hour car ride to Daet, Bicol and a 2-hour ride to a boat bound for Calaguas Island from Vinzons, Tropang Zamborga were all excited stepping their feet first blood on the powdery white sand beach of Calaguas Island in Camarines Norte. Some call it Mahabang Buhangin beach (The Pinay Solo Backpacker) but I am not sure if this is the same beach we went to as the Calaguas group of islands must’ve been composed of at least 8 small islets, all in white powdery sands from a distance on the boat where we are riding. Some island sands were not as fine as where we’ve been to because we tried to cross a place on the same island we were in to on the other side of a small cliff. The sands there were not as fine indeed.

Aside from the waypoint from Vinzon’s Port, there is another way to the Calaguas Island beach which is through Paracale but it was just what we were told by our tour guide and official Calaguas Island tour photographer, Nano Balane (0927-2508522)who is a native of Daet. We’ve never tried that option. We had a few stop overs which by the way were really good as we travelled at night 10:00 PM from Magallanes in Manila, making it a little bit colder on the streets from Batangas to Lopez Quezon, to Bitukang Manok which is the shortest travel point to Calaguas Island.

Tropang Zamborga, on our travel to Calaguas Island were composed of Nas Nasam, Penny Lao and Philip Lao (couple) Egay Oanes and Toni Oanes (couple), Aga Segundo, Dennis Perida and Tina Perida (couple), Benjie Melosantos, Bal Maniego and me, Sam Casuncad. All in all, 11 od us. While in Calaguas Island tour, the package we got was all very nice. Calaguas Island tour package consists of:
