ABS-CBN’s Showtime on 20 Days Suspension – MTRCB

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) gave a 20-day suspension to Showtime, an ABS-CBN new noontime talent show. According to the news report, the 20-day suspension was due to the controversial statement of one of the recent judges, Rosanna Roces on teachers.
In a source that I read, the reason of the suspension came from Rosanna (Osang) Roces when she called teachers as repeaters. ABS – CBN management said they will file for a reconsideration regarding this matter to lift the suspension.
I also read that there will be a replacement program to air tomorrow in replacement of the time slot of Showtime, hosted by Anne Curtis and Vhong Navarro. The title of the show is Magpasikat where celebrities were said to appear in a showdown of their respective talents.

Rosanna just proved where sha came from……..So ABS-CBN should have a better choice of hosts and judges next time as what had happened with Willy ages ago and Rosanna recently. Not to just get somebody who is sikat but somebody who is smart enough…..
